Agent for the Ozarks of SW Missouri loves fishing and hates ticks.
Yesterday, while showing some beautiful wooded land with a creek running through it my clients and I were covered by ticks. Having sprayed and protected myself as much as I thought was necessary, I was not worried about them staying on me but what a surprise when I got home. Four had found their way into my boots and were falling on the floor when I took my socks off. Wife was not happy to say the least. Even after the shower I still had the hee-bee-gee-bies, just something creepy about blood-sucking parasites - lol. This may be the worst year for them I can remember because of all the rain, plant and other habitat coverage growth and other prime conditions for ticks seems to be perfect, at least from their perspective. Anyway, my wife is convinced they can fly because one was crawling on my arm while I was driving, it probably fell off in my truck the day before and climbed back on me the next day is my guess. Anyway, I hate ticks and would rather be fishing and pulling in bass than spraying and pulling off ticks, anytime!!!!!!!!!:)
