Sitting here watching Eli and Tom shoot it out on the tube, I find myself thinking about listings, buyer leads, contracts, contingencies, inspections and appraisals instead of the the game. Sure sign I have a lot of pressure to perform, much like those athletes I am watching, and that is what makes it hard to relax and enjoy the journey. Knowing that those who have arrived all tell you that you should just step back and relax a little more and worry a lot less, so you can enjoy the journey does not make it any easier. I find myself wishing the media would just focus on the election and quit with the economic doom and gloom predictions they seem to be determined to speak into existence. I want to stay positive, know that the economy will recover, it always has, but waiting for it to happen, and enjoying the journey in the meantime is the real challenge. So now that I got that off my chest, I can put this laptop down, turn up the volume, and enjoy the game, hope you do too!!!
