Many people think that a real estate agent will cost them money when they are shopping for property so they avoid using a Realtor when just the opposite is true. The common misconception is that by cutting one agent out of the deal will save them is so common and untrue it is not even funny. They often end up not being represented by a professional who knows the market and suffer at the hands of a less than ethical sellers agent who causes them to pay far more than the would have otherwise. I know this from experiences that happened to me before I became a Realtor and what I have seen since I have and wish there was some way to let people know, Real Estate Agents are not all alike, and some of us will help you, whether there is anything in it for us or not just to protect our profession, and name as an honest Realtor. Check around, the folks who live around here know who the good ones are, just ask, and you will get the help you want and save a lot of money too. And that's the truth!
